LGBT Counseling

I have enjoyed working with the LGBT community in various capacities since the late 1980s when I lived and worked in New York’s West Village and San Francisco’s Marina District. I aim to help my clients feel better, enjoy life, practice self-awareness, develop satisfying relationships, and find personal success.

In therapy, we clear away the tensions, constricting beliefs, limiting emotions, and fragmented identities that may interfere with your authenticity and potential.

I believe that an individual already possesses the seeds of everything they need, and that psychotherapy is often about building or restoring one’s inner compass and finding a way to move through life that is fulfilling, meaningful, and satisfying.

LGBT - Women - 1-5x1-5People are naturally vibrant and healthy. However, our access to that vibrancy often becomes blocked as we adjust to life’s challenges. I work to help my clients gain clarity into how and why they have lost access to meaningful parts of themselves and move towards a life that feels more connected and alive.

Our work is tailored to fit your individual concerns, preferences, and goals. In addition to helping you reach your goals, we will develop personal and interpersonal tools that will continue to be useful to you long after you have left my office. I invite you to visit my web site to read more about my specialties and services, and my profile on Gay USA Pages.
